The school of Capoeira Angola Mato Rasteiro (ECAMAR) was founded by Mestre Roxinho on the 21st April 1999 in Salvador, Bahia with the aim of promoting and preserving both CapoeiraAngola and Afro-Brazilian culture.
Our school has centres in Sydney, Melbourne and Alice Springs in Australia, and São Paulo in Brazil.

5th Capoeira Angola International Encounter
We would like to invite you to the 5th Capoeira Angola International Encounter in Sydney from the 16th until the 20th of November 2011.
With Mestre Plinio from Sao Paulo, the encounter will continue to work for the preservation of the practice of Capoeira Angola and its rhythms, history and culture.
