| TRAINING:
What to bring / what to wear
If you are beginning training, we recommend you wear light
sport shoes with low soles, a white t-shirt, exercise pants
(white or brown if possible) and belt.
Please do not wear shorts, singlets, low cut or sleeveless
tops or train in barefoot! If you are from the Regional style
don't wear your coloured graduation belt, thanks.
DRESS CODE FOR RODA’S:
Roda’s are open for everyone to attend; beginners, other
class students, other styles of capoeira, overseas students
etc and it’s free. We respect all styles of Capoeira
and we respect all participants, teachers, contra-mestres
and in particular the Masters of Capoeira
As this is a traditional Roda of Capoeira Angola, it’s
important that all those who attend respect the following
rules and traditions:
· Wear white or brown trousers
/ excercise pants (if possible), shoes / trainers and t-shirt
· Do not wear shorts, singlets, low cut tops, sandals
or go barefoot
· Switch off mobile phones, no cameras, no recording
equipment.
· Come clean, refreshed and ready to enjoy
Existing students of the Ecamar School: Please wear the official
ECAMAR uniform to Rodas, Event T-Shirts and other Capoeira
T-Shirts should only be worn in class.
