Beginners class is open only to those who just started and for the first three months.After three months to a year, the students will go to the Intermediate class .The students who have being training over a year will go to the Advanced class. Every class starts with ten minutes of music and singing followed by movements.
     
  Music Class - Iis attended by students of all levels and it is the moment where the instruments and songs are learned and the Bateria is organized. For this reason it is particularly important that all students participate to this class.  
     
  Roda - The roda is the moment where the trainign is put into practice, the bateria comes together and the students play with each other. The roda is a public event where everyone can come to participate or just to assist. If you are training in other schools and want to come to our Roda be welcome. Just remember that in Capoeira Angola Roda there is a specific dress code; please make sure that you are wearing shoes, long pants, and a t-shirt (no sleeveless or singlets).  
     
Guidelines for Students
Dress Code for Capoeira Angola Classes, Rodas and Playing Instruments:
    • Do Wear light sport shoes with low soles, a white t-shirt, exercise pants (white or brown if possible) and a belt.
    • Don't wear shorts, singlets, low cut or sleeveless tops or go barefoot!
    • Avoid wearing earrings necklaces or bracelets.
    • Students are to purchase a uniform after two months of training . The uniform is only permitted to be worn inside the space, at special events or at other Capoeira Rodas.
    • Before entering a Roda of Capoeira Angola female students should make sure hair is tied back - use head scarves instead of using clips or pins.
    • Make sure your shirt is tucked in to your trousers , belt firmly done and shoe laces tied.

- In the absence of the Master, the most senior student, as indicated by the master will be held responsible for the classes

- Students aren't permitted to string the berimbaus of ECAMAR school without the permission of the Master or the responsible student.

- All students are to participate in the monthly or weekly Roda.

- All students must participate in the instrument class as this is when the bateria is organised.

- All students need to have a berimbau after three months of practice to be used during music class.

- If you need to the leave training or a Roda early, communicate this to the Master or a responsible student before class.

- Mobile phones are not to be used during training or Rodas.

- Respect all styles of Capoeira.

- Respect all participants, teachers, contra-mestres and in particular the Masters of Capoeira .
